Volunteer
Volunteers are the back bone of the North Central Florida Chapter. This year alone, volunteers donated thousands of hours, helping disaster victims, teaching classes and performing any number of other functions.
The North Central Florida Chapter area includes the counties of: Alachua, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy & Suwannee.
Volunteers are always needed to:- Respond to disasters locally or nationally
- Educate the community on safety and disaster preparedness issues
- Provide office support
- Teach health and safety classes like First Aid and CPR
- Help during special events such as telethons
