Workplace Training

Is your company prepared for the unexpected? When you consider the cost of an illness or injury to your company, you’ll quickly see that workplace safety training is an investment that pays for itself time and again. Being prepared is a win-win proposition that builds productivity and morale while protecting your operation

With a host of training programs and benefits designed to fit your schedule and your budget, your American Red Cross is your complete source for emergency and lifesaving solutions including Bloodborne Pathogen Training, First Aid/CPR/AED, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider among many others.

In our First Aid/CPR/AED program, we’ve incorporated the latest science for first aid, CPR and emergency cardiovascular care and bring you a wealth of educational innovations to enhance the learning experience of your employees.

Combine course content—including adult, child and infant CPR, adult and child AED, and first aid—to create the optimal training program for your business or organization and the skills training required to meet OSHA Guidelines for First Aid Programs.

Beginning in January 2011 we started offering:
  • Two year certification for CPR/AED and First Aid
  • Free access to digital First Aid and CPR course materials
  • New certificate format – wallet sized certificate per course module taught or the convenient new option of one 8½ by 11 certificate per student which will include all the modules taught.

In addition, in the spring of 2011, we will be releasing our updated First Aid and CPR programs for the workplace and the professional rescuer enhanced with:

  • the latest science from the 2010 emergency cardiovascular care update
  • free digital course refreshers quarterly
  • shorter, more interactive course format
  • convenient email reminders when employee recertification is due
  • The minimum billing amount for on-site training is for six people. If you have less than six people have your employees attend our chapter-based classes taught in a Red Cross facility.

If your group needs first aid and safety training on a regular basis, you should also inquire about how to have representatives from your company or organization trained as Red Cross Authorized Provider instructors who can then conduct trainings whenever your organization needs them.
